Player of the Week

UABCB's final Player of the Week is Stephen from the MLB Athletics! Coach Nicoll writes:

Stephen is in his second year of playing baseball. He is always cheering on his teammates, yelling where the play is, and letting us know how many outs there are in such a loud voice it makes everyone smile. He is still learning the game, but he has put in a tremendous amount of hard work to get better at a game he loves. In our playoff game against the Diamondbacks, Stephen hit a walk off three run home run in the bottom of the 4th to end the game. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, triple, and two singles. Stephen had 5 RBI's on the night and scored 3 times. He had an amazing game, and true to his nature, after the game he was lifting up his teammates for all the great plays and hits they had. Way to go, Stephen!
